We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to request deletion of your WABI account and personal data.
Before You Delete
Please consider the following before requesting account deletion:
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- All your booking history will be permanently deleted
- Your reviews and ratings will be removed
- Any pending payments or disputes must be resolved first
- If you're a worker, your profile and earnings history will be deleted
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use WABI again
Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your WABI account and all associated personal data, please send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Include the following information in your email:
- Your registered phone number
- Your full name as it appears in the app
- Reason for leaving (optional, helps us improve)

- In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account

What Happens Next

Verification (1-2 days) We'll verify your identity using your registered phone number to ensure security.

Review (3-5 days) We'll check for any pending transactions, disputes, or payments that need resolution.

Deletion (Within 30 days) Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Confirmation You'll receive a confirmation SMS/email once deletion is complete.
Data We Must Retain
Under Kenyan law (KRA requirements), we are required to retain certain records even after account deletion:
